CBI REGISTERS SIX CASES AGAINST THREE THEN
& THREE PRESENT MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT (RAJYA SABHA) AND UNKNOWN OTHERS
RELATING TO AN ALLEGED PAYMENT ON COMPANION TICKETS USING FAKE E-TICKETS FOR
TRAVELLING BY AIR INDIA FLIGHTS

13-6-2014 : The Central Bureau of Investigation has
registered six cases against three Members of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and
three Ex-Members of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and unknown private persons U/s
120-B r/w 420, 467, 468 & 471 of IPC and 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention
of Corruption Act 1988 on the allegation that they claimed full payment on
companion air tickets from Rajya Sabha Secretariat using fake e-tickets for
travelling by Air India flight.
Searches have been conducted today at nine
places in Delhi & one place in Odisha including at the premises of three
travel agents in Delhi. Incriminating documents have been recovered during
the searches.
Investigation of cases are in progress.
